Diferencia entre ちゅう y じゅう

ちゅう (chuu) es para señalar un tiempo específico (actualmente; durante, en cierto punto):

  • 午前中 (gozen chuu) = en cierto punto durante la mañana.
  • 会議中 (kaigi chuu) = actualmente en una junta.

じゅう (juu) es usado para cubrir una extensión de tiempo o área en su totalidad (a través; a lo largo de). También puede significar «antes de que este periodo de tiempo termine».

  • 一年中 (ichinen juu) = por todo el año / antes del término del año.
  • 世界中 (sekai juu) = por todo el mundo.
